Banking aspirants are confused. there is no minimum marks eligibility in Common Written Exam for Probationary officer Recruitment for 19 Public Sector Banks.
The Eligibility Conditions as mentioned in CWE Exam Notification is “A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.”
However The Recent Bank of India 1800 Probationary Officer Recruitment Notice , The bank has specified that candidates with a minimum of 60 per cent in their graduation and a total weighted standard score of 130 in the common written examination conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) are eligible to apply.
Applicants are of the view that as IBPS is a common Written Exam for 19 Public Sector Banks, They should clearly specify Individual bank’s minimum Eligibility Conditions in terms of marks in Graduation.1.There will be one paper of 3½ hours duration containing 300 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) consisting of Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical subjects.
2.The questions will be single response objective type. Each answer with correct response shall be awarded four marks. One mark will be deducted for each wrong response. Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered. More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response and will be negatively marked.
3.The tentative number of questions from each subject will be as given below :-
