The revision committees are bringing in changes, that will be implemented in the upcoming examinations.

This announcement was made by ICSI president Anil Murarka at a press meet on Tuesday.

“The changes in the syllabus of the foundation course have already been made. It will be implemented in the December 2012 examinations. The changes in syllabus of executive courses and professional courses are still being made, and would be implemented in December 2013,” announced Murarka.

The syllabus will now focus more on accountancy, mathematics, evaluation and global reporting initiative, the subjects that were not discussed in detail, explained Murarka.

The ICSI has also taken various initiatives towards growth and development of the members, students and the profession by undertaking extensive career orientation and professional development programmes, besides brand building, extensive research, re-organisation and infrastructure development.

The council of the institute conducted detailed deliberations and training sessions to formulate the goals for 2011-14. The council members are conscious of their responsibilities and are committed to provide best of the services in all spheres.

Murarka said, “Extensive efforts are being made to create awareness and about the profession, not only in India, but also abroad. The council has also decided to initiate the process of formulating International Secretarial Standards.”

The ICSI is propagating the cause of good corporate governance amongst corporate India. It has instituted the ‘ICSI National Award’ for excellence in corporate governance, and last year the organisation celebrated a decade of promoting excellence in corporate governance, he added.

Murarka said, “To globalise the profession, ICSI has approached the commerce ministry for inclusion of a new head of corporate governance and company secretarial services under the services sectoral classification list of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The institute has also sought support from parallel institutes across the world. The responses received from parallel institutes abroad have been encouraging.”

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Tuesday announced results of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Supplementary examination 2011 with 34.30 percentage of success.

As many as 8,269 students’ submitted applications for this examination, of which 7,961 student appeared. Out of whom 2,731 students were declared successful and 5,224 students remained unsuccessful to clear the examinations.

In Science group 1,894 students appeared of which 1,268 students were male and 626 females. Of them 584 students passed the examination with the passing percentage of 30.38 percent and 1,308 were declared fail.

In Humanities group 2,564 students appeared, in which 976 were male and 1,588 females students. Out of them, 625 students passed the examination with the passing percentage of 24.38 and 1,938 were declared fail.

In Pre-Medical group 659 students appeared, in which 211 were male and 448 females. Among them 347 students cleared the examination with 52.6 passing percentage and 312 were declared fail.

As many as 1,627 students appeared in Pre-Engineering group examination, in which, 1,362 students were males and 265 females. Of which 846 students passed the examination with the passing percentage of 52 and 781 were declared fail.

In other groups like commerce and Med Tech, 1,214 students appeared and 329 students passed the examination and 885 were declared fail.

According to FBISE, in the examinations six unfair means cases were reported and all the cases have been decided. A judicious procedure was adopted to decide the cases and there in every effort was made to ensure the personal hearing was allowed to all concerned.

The FBISE posted the results on its website, (www.fbise.edu.pk.) and students could learn about results by SMS in the format of FB< space> [roll number] to unified code of 5050.

Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test (BETET) 2011 is an eligibility test in the State of Bihar for the teachers. Bihar TET 2011 is conducted to test the eligibility of candidates for the teachers of classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8.

BETET 2011 Notification:

Bihar TET 2011 Eligibility Criteria:

For Classes I to V (Primary Teacher):

Candidates should have a degree of intermediate or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks to apply for Bihar TET 2011. They should have a degree of 2 years diploma in education or D.EId in education from a recognized board/university.

For Classes VI to VIII (Middle School Teacher):

Candidates should have a degree of graduation or its equivalent to apply for Bihar TET 2011. They should have bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks and 1 year B.Eid in Education.

BETET 2011 Qualifying Marks:

Candidates must secure 60% marks to qualify in BETET 2011. They can improve their BETET score attempting for other Bihar TET exam. However, Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test qualifying marks doesn’t give the guarantee of employment.

Bihar TET 2011 Certificate:

Bihar TET 2011 certificate will be issued to the qualified candidates in written exam.

Bihar TET 2011 Age Limit:

General Male and Female – 37 years
OBC/EBC Male and Female – 40 years
SC/ST Male and Female – 42 years

BETET 2011 Exam Centre:

BETET 2011 exam centre will be notified through the Bihar TET hall ticket 2011. The examination will be conducted in various districts of Bihar.

BETET 2011 Exam Pattern:

BETET 2011 exam pattern will comprise objective types of 150 questions of maximum 150 marks. Candidates will get 1 hour and 30 minutes to solve the questions. There is no negative marking in BETET exam pattern.

Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test 2011 Syllabus:

BETET syllabus 2011 will cover general awareness, current affairs, mathematics, English, social sciences, learning process and child development. BETET 2011 Exam Date:

BETET exam date 2011 is scheduled on 20th and 21st December, 2011. Bihar TET exam date 2011 for paper 1 is scheduled on 20th December, 2011 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM. Bihar Teacher exam date 2011 for paper 2 is scheduled on 21st December, 2011 from 1 PM to 2:30 PM.

These are the final BETET 2011 exam date after so many discussions and changes. Earlier, Bihar TET exam date was scheduled in the month of July. Later, it changed to October. Final exam date of BETET 2011 was to be scheduled on 3rd or 4th/15th or 16th December, 2011. Now finally, Bihar Teacher exam date 2011 is scheduled in December, 2011.

BETET 2011 Admit Card:

BETET 2011 Admit card will be made available for about 26 lakh applicants. Exam date already has been scheduled. Bihar TET Admit card 2011 will be made available 1 week before. Candidates will be able to collect Bihar Teacher Admit card 2011 from the centre where they had bought their application form.

More than 2 lakhs candidates will not be able to appear in Bihar Teacher exam 2011 due to wrong applications. Total 28 lakh applications had filled for Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test 2011. Details of rejected form and candidates will be updated through www.educationbihar.in.

Candidates will be able to collect their BETET hall ticket 2011 from 11 December, 2011. The committee has promised to distribute BETET call letter 2011 till 15th December, 2011.

There is no details about Bihar TET admit card download by online. You will not able to download BTET Admit card 2011 through www.educationbihar.in.

No candidates will be allowed to appear in written exam without BETET Admit card 2011. Details of Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test Admit card 2011 have been made available by local news paper till now.

BETET 2011 Results:

BETET results 2011 will be made available online through www.educationbihar.in. Candidates will be able to check Bihar TET results 2011 after written exam. BETET result 2011 will be made available through local news papers also.

Candidates will be able to know their marks details and marks status checking Bihar TET result 2011. Details of Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test result 2011 will be updated after written exam.

Candidates will be able to check BETET results 2011 by their name, roll number or registration number. They can collect their certificate after the announcement of BETET 2011 result.

GUJCET 2012 Exam Date:

GUJCET 2012 exam date is scheduled on 5th April, 2012. More details about GUJCET exam date 2012, exam pattern, exam centre will be made available through information booklet.

GUJCET 2012 Information Booklet:

GUJCET 2012 information booklet and Pin No (User ID and Password) for Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012 will be made available on payment of Rs. 250/- by Demand Draft. The DD should be drawn by Nationalized Bank payable at Ahmedabad in favour of “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar for GUJCET 2012 information booklet and Pin Number.

GUJCET 2012 information booklet and Pin No. was scheduled to distribute through District Distribution Centres during 12th December to 13th December, 2011. You may check list of distribution centres visiting www.gseb.org.

GUJCET 2012 information booklet and Pin No. will be made available from Board Office at Vadodara and Gandhinagar, T. & T. V. High School, Nanpura, Surat and S. G. Dholakiya High School, Rajkot during working hours from 12th December to 30th December, 2011 (except holidays).

GUJCET 2012 Application Form is made available through Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board from Education Department – Government of Gujarat. GUJCET 2012 registration is made available at: gujcet.gseb.org for Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012. You may fill GUJCET Online Application Form 2012 to appear in Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012 through gujcet.gseb.org. GUJCET 2012 Online Registration can be done on gujcet.gseb.org during 13th December to 31st December, 2011.

GUJCET 2012 Eligibility Criteria:

Passed or appearing candidates in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (XII) from science stream can fill GUJCET 2012 Forms for gujcet.gseb.org 2012.

GUJCET 2012 Admit Card:

GUJCET 2012 Admit card download is made available to offer a duplicate hall ticket for written test. Eligible candidates can download GUJCET 2012 hall ticket visiting www.gseb.org or gujcet.gseb.org. General Instructions to Candidates

Please ensure that you have the following, ready on hand before you start filling up the Online Application Form

Note: Send the Application and enclosures in A4 size envelope only. Do not fold the application form.

	Demand Draft drawn in favour of "COMEDK", payable at Bangalore for Rs.2000/- (Two Thousand Only).
	All marks cards (First Year to Final Year university examination marks card/s)
	Attempt Certificate is a statement indicating the number of attempt one has taken to clear a particular subject/year.
	Ensure that the online application form is filled up properly and completely.
	After you have filled in your online application form, click on the Submit button only once, to send the details to the server.
	The server will assign you an application number, and provide the facility to view your online application form with the details you have filled, along with the 6 digits application number.
	Only after verifying the details take a print of the Application Form and the Date of Birth Certificate.
	The completed application form must have the candidate’s signature, impressions of left thumb, left forefinger and left middle finger.
	Kindly do not send any original documents along with the application form.
	Kindly stick your recent (not older than six months) passport size colour photograph only in the space provided. Application Form with smudged / tampered or hazy photograph will be rejected.
	Do not staple or pin your photograph to the application form. Do not Sign. No attestation is required on the photograph.
	Please adhere to the time schedule enlisted in the calendar of events.
	Incomplete / incorrect applications will be rejected without prior information to the candidate.
	Multiple application form received from the same candidate will result in confusion and may result in disqualification.
	Demand Drafts in excess of the prescribed fee (Rs.2000/-) if sent by the candidate will not be refunded.
	Non-refundable fee for taking COMEDK PGET-2012 and attending centralized counseling, if eligible, is Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only).
	COMEDK is not responsible for any error the candidate makes while filling up the Application Form.
	COMEDK will not entertain any changes in the application form and no refund will be made.
	Candidates who are listed in the Red List featured on our website need to contact COMEDK Contact No (080-41132810) for clarifications.
	COMEDK is not responsible for any loss or damage which might occur during Postal or Courier delivery.

	Demand Draft drawn in favour of "COMEDK", payable at Bangalore for Rs.2000/- (Two Thousand Only) application number & applicant’s name to be written behind the DD. Check for the banker’s seal & signature on the DD.
	Printed Online Application Form The completed application form must have i. Candidate’s photo should be pasted (within the box provided). ii. Candidate’s signature (within the box provided). iii. Left thumb, forefinger and middle finger impression of the candidate (within the space provided).
	Printed online Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof (COMEDK Copy) The completed Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof must have i. Attestation (within the space provided) by the Head of the Institution where he/she last studied or Gazetted officer not below the rank of Tahsildar of the area in which he/she is a resident. ii. Candidate’s photo should be pasted (within the box provided). iii.Candidate’s signature (within the box provided).
	Photocopies of All marks cards including that of failed year if any (First Year to Final Year university examination marks card/s).
	Photocopy of Attempt Certificate is a statement indicating the number of attempt one has taken to clear a particular subject/year.
	Photocopy of Internship Completion Certificate / Internship Completed Certificate.
	Photocopy of Degree Certificate/Provisional Degree Certificate.
	Photocopy of Registration Certificate.
	Candidates belonging to SC / ST of All India and OBC of Karnataka would be considered, provided they furnish the duly attested Photocopy of the following Certificates: a. SC / ST: Caste Certificate issued by competent authority (Authorised to issue such a certificate but not below the rank of a Tahsildar) b. OBC: Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB: As notified by the Karnataka Govt. Caste and Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar or higher revenue jurisdictional authority authorised to issue such a certificate. c. MINORITY: Religious (Christian) of All India / Linguistic (Tulu/Telugu) of Karnataka minority candidates to produce certificate as per Appendix –IV of Brochure (available on www.comedk.org) Candidates who have not produced appropriate supporting documents for claiming the status of Religious / Linguistic Minority / SC / ST / OBC are liable to be considered as General Merit Candidates.

Note:
Avoid stapling of Demand Draft to the application form, instead use clips.

Note:
The recent passport size photographs have to be identical. It should not be more than 6 months old. Application with smudged/tampered or hazy photograph will not be accepted. Any application received not adhering to these specifications will be rejected without any clarifications and no refund will be made. The decision of the COMEDK Committee on this would be final and binding.

The completed Application Form has to reach COMEDK office by speed post or courier on or before Friday the 13th January 2012 (before 5:00 PM) to the following address.
