Rajasthan Gramin Bank was formed on 24th January 2006 by the Government of India. It is a result of amalgamation of the erstwhile Shekhawati Gramin Bank and Alwar Bharatpur Anchik Gramin Bank. Its head office is at Alwar. Its branches are located at various districts like Alwar, Bharatpur, Sikar, Dholpur and Jhunjhunu. It is fully sponsored by the Punjab National Bank. It provide banking facility to the people especially of the rural region. NEFT facility is available in its al the branches.
In order to meet business requirements and for the development of the organisation, Rajasthan Gramin Bank invites applications from Indian Nationals for various posts of Officers and clerks. 3 vacancies are for the post of Officers Middle Management in Scale II, 41 are for Officers in Junior Management Scale I and 66 posts are for Office Assistants [ Multipurpose ].
Age limit and qualification: candidates applying for the post of Officers Scale II should be between 21-32 years while age limit should be between 18-28 years for the post of Officers scale I and Office assistants. Graduation in any discipline with proficiency in local language and knowledge of computers is essential for all the positions.
Pay scale: Candidates selected for the post of scale II will get salary of Rs. 31137/- per month under the pay scale of Rs. 19400-28100/-. While Officers scale I will get salary of Rs. 23272/- per month under the pay scale of Rs. 14500-25700/- and Office Assistants will get salary of Rs. 12280/- with pay scale of Rs. 7200-19300/-.
Selection will be done by seeing performance in written test and interview. written test for officers scale I and scale II will be on 22nd January 2012 while it will be on 29th January 2012 for Office Assistants. it will be at Alwar, Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Bharatpur and for the duration of 2.30 hours. Special Class Railway Apprentices' (SCRA) refers to a handful of candidates that are selected by the Union Public Service Commission India, after a rigorous selection process, to the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. This programme was started in 1927 and is one of the oldest in India

Part I consists of a written examination carrying a maximum of 600 marks in basic academic subjects, such as English, Science and Mathematics. A personality test is given to those who qualified on the written exam.
The training is conducted at IRIMEE and the students stay at the Jamalpur Gymkhana. The selected candidates undergo a four-year rigorous training programme in Mechanical Engineering, for which IRIMEE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. The semester system of BIT, Mesra is followed, with workshop training sessions during the holidays at BIT, Mesra.[1]
A very selective group at best, the numbers have been further reduced due to the shrinkage in the Mechanical Department in the Indian Railways. The alumni of the program are called SAMs [An acronym for Special Apprentice (Mechanical)].
This however is a recent development in the long history of the scheme. Earlier, it consisted of a sandwich system of training, with a mixture of theory and practice. The apprentices were required to pass either of the examinations conducted by The Engineering Council (London) or The Institution of Engineers (India), with many of them choosing to take both the exams.
UPSC SCRA has announced the admission for SCRA 2012 Examination. Registration for filing of Online forms has been opened on 22-10-2011 and will close on 21st Nov 2011. Candidate need to file the application form online in 2 parts.

It was founded by the then Maharaja of Mysore, His Highness Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV and his Dewan, the renowned engineer - statesman, Sir M.Visvesvaraya, on July 27, 1916. The Maharaja of Mysore became its first Chancellor. A Bill to establish and incorporate the University was introduced in Mysore Legislative Council in 1916. It was passed unanimously on 17th July 1916. The first meeting of the University Council was held on 12th August 1916 and the first meeting of the Senate on 12th October 1916.

The Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani came into existence in 1969 as per Haryana Act No. 11 of 1969 with its head-quarters at Chandigarh later shifted to Bhiwani in January 1981. The Board started with a staff of 100 officials allocated from Punjab University, Chandigarh and conducted the first examination of matriculation level (10th Class) in 1970. The Board started conducting the Middle examination with effect from 1976 to improve educational standards at Middle level. The Board adopted 10+2 pattern of education and conducted XII class examination under the new scheme with effect from 1987. It started conducting 10+2 Vocational examination in 1990, keeping in view the need and relevance of vocationalization of education in the backdrop of the fast changing economic scenario. Further, in order to reach out to the unreached, the Board established Haryana Open School in 1994 and thereby started bringing into the fold of education those who could not get formal education or could not continue it due to varied reasons.

(SCT) dated 14-4-1987 is given as under "An ex-serviceman" means as person, who have served in any rank whehter as a Combatant or non-combatant in the Regular Army, Navy and Air Force of the Indian Union and who retired from such service after earning his/her pension; or

6. CHECKING OF ORIGIONAL DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES FOR ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA.
i) All the candidates, are required to bring their origional documents/certificates at the time of PE & MT, pertaining to age, educational, caste, hill areas, driving license, NOC/discharge certificate (in case of Ex-Serviceman),wards certificate issued to wards (sons/daughters) of Delhi Police personnel, NCC(if any) and sports certificate for the candidates seeking age relaxation alongwith the attested photocopies of all the documents/certificates.
ii)The original certificate would be checked at the time of bio-metrics of all the candidates declared succesfully in PE&MT and before the issuance of Admission Card for written test. The candidates will also be required to submit attested photocopies of all the documents/certificates.
7. WRITTEN TEST.
All candidates,who qualify physical endurance and measurment tests,shall be put through a written test of one and a half hour (1½) duration which will carry 100 marks. The question papers will have 100 questions and will be of objective typeand will include questions on reasoning(35 marks), general knowledge/current affairs(50 marks) and numerical ability(15 marks).The question paper will be in (English and Hindi).
8. BONUS MARKS.
(a) 1 mark will be given to candidates whose height measured 178cms or above
(b) 1 mark for possesing NCC 'C' certificate (not meant for ex-serviceman)

i) Applicant may cut the application form given in this advertisement, fill it up and send or application form can also be typed/photocopied on A4 size paper as per the format given in this advertisement, fill it up and send.
ii) Application form as per given format in Advertisement/Website will be accepted.
iii) A recent coloured passport size(35mm x 45mm) photograph with name plate taken in red background should be firmly affix at the appropriate place in the application form,Two identical passport size photographs with name plate shall also be attached with the application form.
iv) A demand/bank draft/bankers cheque of Rs. 100/- shall be attached as fee in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi(Payable at Delhi) which should be valid for 6 months. iii) After filling the form, candidate need to click on PREVIEW button; a preview of the entire information filled in application form will be displayed. Before clicking Save/Submit Application button, one can click on Modify application button to go back to modify the filled application form information.
iv) candidate needs to review it carefully because the information once submitted clicked save/submit application form can't be altered at the later stage.
v) If it is filled correctly then the candidate should click on save/submit button to complete the online applications submission and click on print button to take out print(on 300 dpi laser printer) of the filled application on A4 size paper.
