i. For candidates belonging to all over state: 366 Posts
ii. For candidates belonging to border region i.e Leh & Kargil: 360 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age is between 18 to 23 years as on 01/08/2011.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board/University.
Application Fee: For General, OBC candidates Rs-50/- paid in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/IPO or Bank Draft, in favour of Inspector General, (NW) Frontier, ITB Police, Chandigarh.
Selection Process: Selection is based on Height Bar Test, Registration, Race, Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test, Biometric Verification, Documentation, Written Test, and Detailed Medical Examination.

Age Limit: Candidate’s age should not exceed 30 years as on 29-02-2012. Upper age limit relaxation is as per Govt Rules.
Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree/Masters from a recognized University with Hindi and English
Application Fee: Rs 50/- for General/OBC candidates, no fee for SC/ST & Ex-servicemen candidates. Pay fee through CRFs/IPO/DD in favour of Commandant (ADMN), ITBP Academy, payable at SBI Mussoorie, Code No 684.
Selection Process: The mode of selection is based on PET, Medical Test, written test, and interview
