GUJCET 2012 - Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012

Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012 (GCET) is an annual common entrance exam for MBA and MCA studies in Gujarat since 2002. Every year it is conducted between March to August.

GUJCET 2012 Description

Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012 (GUJCET 2012) is state level common entrance exam for admission into postgraduate programs. Graduate students write Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012 (GUJCET 2012) for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA), Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs offered through different institutes and colleges situated in Gujarat. IIM Ahmedabad in Gujarat does not consider GUJCET 2012 test score for admission.

GUJCET 2012 Conducting Body

Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012 (GUJCET 2012) is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, under the aegis of the Education Department, Government of Gujarat.

GUJCET 2012 Eligibility

  • The candidate must have passed their Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or equivalent examination under 10+2 pattern from any recognized Board.
  • The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with science stream, from any recognized Board.
  • The candidates, who have appeared in the final of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply.
  • The candidates, who are the son / daughter of an officer/defense personnel / employee of the Government of Gujarat, are also eligible to appear in the Gujarat CET.

GUJCET 2012 Exam Pattern

  • This examination comprises of objective type questions with each question carries four options.
  • The questions in the test are asked from the subjects of physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology.
  • The candidates appear for a different combination of subjects, according to their preferred field, either in Medicine, Engineering or Pharmacy.
  • GUJCET 2012 is conducted in three mediums of languages such as English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

GUJCET 2012 Fees Details

Application forms are available at a cost of Rs 250 to be paid in the form of DD drawn from any Nationalized Bank, in favor of the Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012 Cell, Gandhinagar, payable at Ahmedabad.

GUJCET 2012 Extra Information

The Admission Bulletins and Applications Forms of Gujarat-CET will be available in person only from the selected centers during working days on payment of the specified amount in cash per Bulletin. The Bulletins will not be sent by post or courier.
